Global Premium Refrigeration Oil is used in a refrigeration system to lubricate the compressor and
keep the refrigeration unit running smoothly. They have low pour points and excellent fluidity at
very low temperatures by virtue of being almost .It is Special formulations of oil are required to
lubricate the internal components of a compressor, adding to the expense of manufacturing and
operating cooling equipment while raising environmental issues such as disposal of waste oil and
ozone depletion that contributes to global warming. While refrigeration systems will be required for
the foreseeable future to preserve food and keep people comfortable, engineering advances into oil-
free compression systems could change the way cold air is produced, but at a higher cost at least
for the short term.
GLOBAL PREMIUM REFRIGERATION OIL
grades possess the following characteristics:
Low wax content
Reduced downtime
Enhances cutting ability.
Low pour point minimizes loss of fluidity or formation of wax deposits, ensuring efficient
evaporator operation
Prolonged compressor and seal life Good thermal stability minimizes the formation of gum,
varnish and sludge deposits.
Long oil life Base oils of good oxidation resistance reduces oil thickening and deposit
formation ensuring longer oil life
Reduced need of oil top-up, avoids viscosity build-up
Specifications:
GLOBAL PREMIUM REFRIGERATION OIL meets the requirements of DIN 51503 KAA and KE.
Application Area:
Reciprocating and centrifugal compressors used in refrigeration/chilling systems.
Refrigeration systems, chillers and cold storage compressors
Not recommended for use in breathing air compressors.
For systems containing HFC refrigerants such as HFC 134a, Capella HFC is recommended.
For large ammonia refrigeration systems, Capella A may provide superior performance.
Large industrial reciprocating and rotary refrigeration compressors.
